IMPROVED HEALTH FOR ANNE - Second Harvest Northland

Anne, a senior with a beaming smile and larger-than-life personality, has visited our Mobile Food Pantry Program in NW Wisconsin over the last few years. “All of the food is wonderful.”

Despite having to go on dialysis after experiencing kidney issues, she maintains a positive outlook and is grateful for the healthy food you help ensure each month.

“All of the food is wonderful, just wonderful,” Anne shares. “Everyone has been so caring and I’m so grateful for those who give to serve our community.”

Since her retirement, Anne sticks to a strict budget because most of her fixed income goes toward rent and utilities. Recently, she was nearly hospitalized but after changing her diet and eating fresh produce and other healthy foods she received at our Mobile her health has significantly improved.

“The food I receive has saved my life,” she shares. “And I plan on living a whole lot longer.”
