Art Finds More than Food at Our Mobile Pantry - Second Harvest Northland

To Art, a retired plastic mold injection specialist, our Solon Springs Mobile Pantry is more than a place to pick up food—it’s a way to support the people he loves. Each month, Art delivers food from our mobile pantry to family and friends, bringing nourishment, connection, and hope along with it.

“This program not only provides food for my wife and me, but it also brings community to my friends and helps my sister as she looks for another job,” Art shares. “Second Harvest’s mobile pantry helps all of us in different ways.”

For Art and his wife, access to our mobile pantry means greater stability when it comes to expenses like their gas bill. For others, it offers friendship and encouragement. For Art’s sister, it provides the energy to keep moving forward.

When you give, you do more than provide food—you help strengthen and care for our Northland neighbors.
