This spring, we were honored to have been awarded a $5,000 grant from the Cook County Community Fund, an affiliate of Boreal Waters Community Foundation, ensuring 15,000 meals throughout Cook County. The Cook County Community Fund works to meet local needs with support from the Boreal Waters Community Foundation’s investment and administrative expertise.
Their Director of Community Impact and Partnerships, Amber Burns, is proud to partner with us in strengthening food access in Cook County.
“Through the Cook County Community Fund, we are able to connect local generosity with trusted organizations like Second Harvest Northland that turn those resources into meaningful, lasting impact for individuals and families across our region. Together, we are helping build communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.”
We are proud to partner with the Boreal Waters Community Foundation and grateful for their continued support. Together, we are building a stronger, healthier, and more nourished Northland.
