This summer, Park State Bank generously donated $80,000 to our Nourish the Northland Capital Campaign as part of the Member Impact Fund program. With this contribution, Park State Bank has once again demonstrated their deep commitment to building a stronger, hunger-free region.
“At Park State Bank, giving back is at the heart of who we are,” shares Marci Knight, Chief Marketing Officer at Park State Bank. “Supporting Second Harvest Northland allows us to directly impact families across NE Minnesota and NW Wisconsin who rely on this vital organization.”
Park State Bank’s generous donation leveraged additional funds from a matching grant program that supports nonprofits investing in community development projects.
“Our $80,000 donation was inspired by the incredible opportunity to partner with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines through their Member Impact Fund,” Marci shares. “With their generous matching gift, we were able to amplify our support for Second Harvest Northland’s capital campaign and help build a stronger, more resilient food system for our region.”
In addition to leveraging this matching support, Park State Bank also leveraged an additional $80,000 from Super One Foods and the Miner Family as part of their $500,000 match on all corporate/business donations to our campaign. Like you, they’re helping us nourish the Northland in the years ahead.
